How To Get Your Mojo Back In 2021

Every year tends to start with “New year new you” but what happens after the elation of the first couple of weeks wears off? You can find yourself sliding into old habits and no longer feeling motivated as you were just a few days before. If you find this is happening to you, it is important to try and get your mojo back. There are several ways that you can motivate yourself once the new year high has worn off, all of which can be beneficial for your mental and physical health. Here are just a few ways to get your mojo back in the new year.

Set yourself a clear plan to work to 

If you don’t have a clear plan to work to, it can be like trying to head to a new destination with a blindfold on. You want to know what you are working for and the steps you need to take to get there. Whether it is saving for something, how to get promoted at your job, or starting your own business. It is a good idea to get a whiteboard and list out the necessary steps of where you need to go. You can then tick these off when they are achieved and know where you should be at all times.

Take care of yourself with a healthy diet

Take care of your body and your mind will follow. A healthy diet is imperative for keeping yourself feeling well and motivated. Try and eat at least five fruits and vegetables a day and don’t forget to sip water regularly too. By doing this you will find your brain is less sluggish, you are less tired and you feel much more motivated to achieve the tasks you have set out for yourself over the day. Ensure that you have three meals and if you snack between that they are healthy snacks.

Go on regular workouts

Working out is another way that can ensure you feel motivated after the new year. Try a few different exercises and find the one that you enjoy the most, remember it is not important what exercise you are doing as long as you get moving. If the idea of going for a run fills you with dread, why not try an online body pump class, or pilates? You could try yoga or meditation too, both or which are good for your mental and physical health. If you are going to start working out, be sure to invest in some high quality workout gear such as from which is designed to be comfortable and look great too.

These are just a few top ways that you can motivate yourself in the new year once the initial motivation has worn off. Remember to take care of yourself mentally as well as physically and you will find yourself in a much better mental space to deal with whatever the day has to throw at you.
